Clothing and equipment

Adapt your alpine clothing and equipment to the type of trips you plan to take. At the tourist station there is a small shop with some alpine equipment, clothing and provisions.

A larger grocery store is in the eastern part of the village of Abisko about 3 kilometres from the tourist station.

Mosquitoes and gnats are present during part of the summer, especially in the mountain birch forest. It’s a good idea to bring along mosquito repellent.
