Directly across the island in a north-south direction, Långängen extends as a contiguous stretch of hay-making land.
About the activity
There are magnificent displays of flowers here, including bird's eye primrose, dwarf milkwort, lousewort, cowslip and snake's head fritillary. The meadow is flanked on both sides by pastureland with oak trees and hazel bushes. In the spring wood anemones spread out here, and later in early summer ramsons appear.
