The Church is one of the island’s renowned caves. It is often associated with Verner von Heidenstam’s spectacular wedding out here on Blå Jungfrun in 1896.
About the activity
The idea was to hold the wedding in this cave, but the wedding party never got farther than to Lervik, so the ceremony was held there instead.
