The grove on Gisslan

In the middle of the island there is a grove where small-leaved linden and birch trees grow. On the ground below the trees you will find plants such as lily of the valley, cowslip, anemone hepatica and scented Solomon’s seal. Gisslan is a bird sanctuary between April 1st and July 31st. During this time you may not visit the island.
