Construction of Gamla Gården began in 1783, and it was then referred to as newly built.
About the activity
There was a resident population here until the 1870s, when Madame Söderlund moved away from the place. Today there are remnants of buildings erected at the beginning of the 19th century. The residence of the notorious Petter Gottberg, Herrgården, can only be discerned as an elevation in the ground.
You reach Gamla Gården by walking the trail to Hamnudden.
