Ice Age deltas
Gisuris is an area to spend some time in. South of the Áhkká massif, broad, level terraces are what remains of the Ice Age delta.
About the activity
At the junction of the Snjjuvtjudisjåhkkå and Sjpiethavjåhkåa streams, cloudy glacial water mixes with the crystal clear water from the brook. West of the Gisurisstugorna cabins, there is a large area with hundreds of remnants of Sami settlements, hearths, hut sites and storage facilities.
