Sacred place
In the Tarradalen valley lies Basseuksa in Darrevuobme, or what the Sami call “the sacred door”. It is one of the most well-known Sami sacred places in Sweden.
About the activity
The Padjelantaleden trail passes in the valley below 2-3 kilometres away. Out of respect for the site, you need not go all the way up to it, but rather pause a while and take in the atmosphere.
