Padjelanta/Badjelánnda is in roadless country, and at least a half day of hiking is required to get to the national park.
The easily walked, pleasant Padjelanta/Badjelánndaleden trail takes you through the entire national park. There is a considerable distance between the cabins. They are basic but well-maintained and meet high standards. The Sami settlements take care of the maintenance of all the cabin sites in the national park.
To make your way there, you must hike or ski. If you want to get there quickly, you can fly in on regularly scheduled trips that go between Rijtjem–Stáloluokta–Huhttán/Kvikkjokk to Stáloluokta, in the heart of Badjelánnda. Many of the camps can arrange transport by boat.
