Bårddetjåhkkå
Bårddetjåhkkå is the most easily ascended 2,000-metre-high mountaintop in Sweden. On the way up you will see the Hamberg Observatory, which was completed in 1911.
About the activity
It was staffed year-round between 1914 and 1918. Up on Bårddetjåhkkå there also are remains of the old research station. From the top you have a view of all of the Boarddemassivet massif’s peaks and Bårddejiegŋa, Sarek’s largest glacier.
