Guohper means the cloven hoof of a reindeer, and the mountain with that name is shaped like a hoof.
About the activity
The area also is extremely important for reindeer husbandry. The grass meadows in the valley are Sarek at its greenest. Around the valley there are many excellent mountaintop trips.
