Fäbod life

At the Nyvallen fäbod, a group of simple dwellings where people go in the summer to tend cattle, you can learn about nature in the information cabin, take part in a guided tour (for a fee) or taste traditional fäbod food.

A short hike that starts from Nyvallen can be just right if you don’t want to walk very far. Both and young can read about nature here and look for animals in the forest.
