The burnt trees in the picture are situated along the the road from the main entrance to Kittlakull and between the road and the railway on the other side of Kittlakull.
About the activity
About 300 hectares was burned, mostly the top layers of the peat bog. Sparks from the train ignited the dry grass during the hot summer of 2006.
