Junker jägares sten

Junker Jägares sten (the Junker hunter's rock) is one of the national park’s largest and tallest erratic boulders. In its shady and humid surroundings, many special lichens and mosses thrive. Here you can also marvel at one of many legends associated with Tiveden’s myth-enshrouded forests – the one about Junker Jägare and his unfortunate love affair with a girl in the area. The path from Vitsand to the boulder is about 600 m long.
